Online Submissions

Revista Mundo Osborn accepts manuscripts exclusively through its online editorial platform. Authors must first register as users in the system in order to submit their manuscripts and track the editorial status of their submissions.

To submit a manuscript, users must log in to an existing account or create a new one within the journal’s platform.

The journal does not accept submissions via email or in printed format.


Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors must ensure that their manuscript complies with the following requirements. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to the authors for correction before entering the editorial process.

Before submission, authors must confirm that:

  • The author form has been properly completed and signed by the corresponding author and is attached along with the cover letter and manuscript.
  • The corresponding author has correctly entered all author metadata in the editorial platform (full name, email, institutional affiliation, and ORCID).
  • The manuscript has not been previously published nor is under review by another journal. Otherwise, this must be explained in the comments to the editor.
  • The manuscript file has been prepared in Microsoft Word format using the journal’s official template.
  • Tables are editable and figures are provided in high-quality image format.

General Publication Guidelines for Authors

  • Originality: Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original works. The journal strictly monitors plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Manuscripts with a similarity index of 30% or higher will be rejected. Specialized software will be used during the editorial process to detect textual similarities. In cases of plagiarism, authors may be temporarily restricted from submitting new manuscripts to the Scientific Journal – Demonstration Environment (Demo). If artificial intelligence tools are used, authors must specify which tools were used and in which sections.
  • Previous Publication Confirmation: Authors must certify that the manuscript has not been previously published nor is under simultaneous review elsewhere.
  • Peer Review Process: Authors are expected to actively participate in the peer review process by responding to reviewers’ comments and making the required revisions. Retractions must be issued if necessary.
  • Author Contributions: All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research. Authors must declare that the data presented are real, verifiable, and authentic.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, whether financial, professional, or personal.
  • Sources: All sources used must be properly cited and referenced.
  • Post-publication Errors: If any relevant error is identified after publication, authors must immediately notify the editorial committee of the Scientific Journal – Demonstration Environment (Demo) so that corrections can be made.

Manuscript Submission

  • Submission Platform: The Scientific Journal – Demonstration Environment (Demo) only accepts manuscripts submitted through its online editorial system. Authors must register in the platform to submit and track their manuscripts. Submissions via email or printed format are not accepted.
  • Author Form: Along with the manuscript, a signed author form must be submitted, including:
    • Confirmation that all authors have read and approved the manuscript.
    • Complete author information (name, institution, email, and contact details).
    • Confirmation that the corresponding author will handle communication with the journal.
    • Declaration of the use of artificial intelligence tools, if applicable.

Specific Publication Guidelines

  • Scope: The Scientific Journal – Demonstration Environment (Demo) publishes rigorous scientific research contributing to knowledge across various disciplines, including social sciences, law, communication, arts and humanities, and applied sciences such as health and rehabilitation.
  • Article Balance: The journal seeks a balance between theoretical and empirical articles, prioritizing original research contributions.
  • Author Responsibility: Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented, proper citation, and appropriate use of sources.
  • Manuscript Format:
    • DIN-A4 format
    • Two-column layout
    • Times New Roman, size 12
    • Single line spacing
    • 2 cm margins
    • Centered page numbering at the bottom
    • Recommended length: approximately 7,500 words

Tables and Figures

  • Must be inserted within the text
  • Numbered consecutively
  • Include titles and captions according to APA (7th edition)
  • Images must be in high-resolution JPG or PNG format
